So what exactly is a product page?
As opposed to lifestyle imagery where the product is shown in-situ or styled within a setting, product shots are clipped from their background and arranged on a page – contoured, deep-etched or pack-shot are other terms to describe this style of imagery. It brings the focus to the product and is an effective way to create visually dynamic layouts that are either solely image-based or combined with product captions.
I have designed hundreds of product pages - literally, hundreds – layouts in magazines, brochures, on websites and socials that promote advertiser or client product, convey visual concepts and set trends.
